Hello, my name is Luca. I’m a 23 year old bass player and composer from Argentina, currently residing in Aotearoa New Zealand.

I’ve been playing bass since 2017, and in bands since 2019. My main project is a duo called WAVESLAVE that I started with Jesse Schroder-Smale, but I also play regularly in Thinking Foxes and Sincere Sapling, and every once in a while with other people both live and in the studio. I graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor’s of Music specialising in Jazz Bass Performance in 2023.

I know that probably no one is going to look at this, but I quite enjoy having a place where I get to see all of my own work come together. I’ll try to write more blog posts too.
